In cartoons, the big idea is often illustrated by a light bulb appearing over somebody's head. Yes, the Big Idea can be an epiphany, but in our experience, that kind of idea is just the beginning. For us, the real Big Idea is the concept that will support the infrastructure of a larger campaign or identity.
The Big Idea is the seed that sprouts a thousand supporting ideas and takes on a life of its own. It's the discovery of the Rosetta Stone that will connect all the fragments and tangents and tie them to the larger whole.
An idea is only as big as the distance you can travel with it and the depth of meaning you can give it. When you've cracked that code, that's when big ideas get bigger. Think big. Think BIGGER!
