So what does any of this have to do with eggs? The name 51 Eggs encapsulates all of our values as a branding practice in one thought. You’ll remember the scene in Cool Hand Luke when Paul Newman’s character, with the support of his compatriot Dragline (played by George Kennedy), declares, “I can eat 50 eggs”. By the end of the hour, Luke and Dragline have accomplished the feat. What’s meaningful isn’t the display of gastrointestinal fortitude. Rather, it was their audacity to believe in the possibility of great achievement that inspires us. It conjures themes of creativity, intention, resolve, camaraderie, capacity and integrity. These are the tenets on which we’ve built our practice. 50 eggs has been done, so we’re cracking the extra egg. The only question that remains is, “Which one of us gets to be Luke?”
